‘Supporting children with their communication – helping them grow.’

Suzie Rosin

Welcome to Suzie Rosin Speech and Language Therapy.

I’m an independent paediatric Speech and Language Therapist working across Kent and East Sussex, offering tailored assessment, therapy, and training to families, carers, nurseries, and schools.

What is communication?

Communication is how we connect with others, share ideas, and express who we are.

It is so much more than just the sounds we make or words we use– it includes gestures, facial expressions, body language, tone of voice and even behaviour.

Every child is unique and develops communication skills at their own pace and in their own way. For some, this journey can be more difficult and feel confusing. They might find it tricky to pronounce certain sounds, understand spoken language, navigate social situations, or use words to share their thoughts and feelings.

When communication is difficult, it can be harder for a child to take part in lessons, connect with others, or join in everyday conversations and activities. Over time, this can affect their confidence, learning, emotional wellbeing, and ability to build relationships—all of which are so important for helping them feel secure, understood, and able to meet their potential.

Speech and Language Therapy, can help children grow their communication skills and develop a strong sense of self – in a way that works best for them.

About Me

Hi, I’m Suzie

Independent Speech and Language Therapist, offering children SLT services across Kent and East Sussex.

I’m a Speech and Language Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).

My approach is child-centred and fun, with a strong focus on celebrating neurodiversity. I see every child as an individual with their own strengths to draw upon. Working closely with parents, schools, and other professionals is key to my practice in order to provide support that is practical, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s individual profile.

I understand that when communication is difficult, it can affect many areas of a child’s life—from learning and friendships to confidence and emotional wellbeing. That’s why I take time to understand the whole child and aim to create an inclusive, supportive space where they feel comfortable, understood and excited to come to sessions.

Families and carers often come to me during times of worry or uncertainty. The world of Special Educational Needs (SEND) can feel overwhelming and my goal is to offer calm, professional and compassionate support, working together to support the child’s communication needs so they can reach their potential.

At home, I’m also a mum of two teenage boys, a very loveable Labrador, two cats and our chilled out tortoise - Nacho!
